Pongal is a traditional South Indian dish that is typically made during festivals or as a breakfast dish. It is a variation of the popular dish called Ven Pongal, which is made with rice and lentils.

SF-10 Low GI  pongal mix  is made by cooking little millet with moong dal (split yellow lentils), and then seasoning it with ghee, cumin seeds, black pepper, and cashews. The dish may also include ginger, curry leaves, and green chilies for added flavor.

 

Little millet is a nutritious grain that is rich in fiber, protein, and minerals like iron, magnesium, and phosphorus. It is a good source of complex carbohydrates and has a low glycemic index, making it a suitable food for people with diabetes.
